NaCl, sodium tartrate, methanol, extractant and internal standards are added to a sample. After extraction, the extract is examined by PTV injection, capillary gas chromatography and mass selective detection (triple quad). Identification and quantification takes place by as specific as possible mass transitions, by comparing the retentiontimes and areas. This is corrected for the internal standards. Except PCB-29 all internal standards are labeled. |
