| The sample is filtered through a suitable membrane filter. Next the filter is incubated at 37 °C on a solid, azide-containing culturemedium with such selective characteristics that enterococcus will form characteristic colonies. Confirmation of this characteristic colonies is executed by MALDI-TOF. |
