The colour intensity of filtered water, measured at 455 nm, is compared to the intensity of a diluted solution of cobalt(II) chloride and potassium hexachloroplatinate and is a measure for the colour intensity. The natural colour comes among other things from humic compounds, iron salts and manganese salts. |
