WLN-CA.W.49.1Determination of soluble phosphate (P-AI) in soil by means of the discrete analyserin-house method
Principle:The phosphor compounds present in the soil are extracted during an established time with an ammonium lactate/acetic acid solution. In this process a certain part op the phosphate compounds dissolves. Next the phosphate content in the extract is measured with the discrete analyser: ammonium molybdate in an acid environment with orthophosphate ions, antimony oxyions and ascorbic acid will form a blue coloured compound. The intensity of the blue colour is measured at 880 nm and is a measure for the phosphate content in question.
Determination:Phosphate, soluble P-Al (as P2O5)
Performance characteristics:
Reporting limit:1 mg/100 g, matrix dependent
Sustainability:28 days
Sampling bottle:Glass , white , 350 ml
