WLN-BM.W.09.1Determination of the amount of pseudomonas aeroginosa by means of membrane filtration.in accordance with NEN-EN-ISO 16266
Principle:The sample is filtered through a suitable membrane filter. Next the filter is incubated at 37 °C on a solid, cetrimide-containing culture medium with such selective characteristics that Pseudomonas aeruginosa will form well-defined, typical colonies. Atypical coloniesareconfirmed by the MALDI-TOF.
Determination:Pseudomonas aeruginosa (Membrane filtr.)
Performance characteristics:
Matrices qualified by the Dutch RvA:Drinking water, Swimmingpool water
Reporting limit:1 kve/100ml, matrix dependent
Measurement uncertainty:35%
Sustainability:12 hours , if conserved with NTA and Na-thiosulphate
Sampling bottle:Plastic , white , 500 ml , conservation with NTA and Na-thiosulphate (fill up to the neck of the bottle)
