WLN-CA.W.27.1Determination of sulphate and fluoridein accordance with NEN-EN-ISO 10304-1
Principle:Fluoride, chloride and sulphate are separated in a column filled with a low capacity ion exchanger consisting of inert cores of styrene/divinylbenzene copolymer to which tetramethylammonium groups have been applied. The separated ions are detected by measuring the specific (electrical) conductivity of the liquid flow. By placing a membrane suppressor after the separation column, the cations in the sampleand the sodium ions from the eluent are exchanged for the hydroniumions (H3O+).
Determination:Sulphate
Performance characteristics:
Matrices qualified by the Dutch RvA:Wastewater, Drinking water, Groundwater, Surface water
Reporting limit:0.5 mg/l, matrix dependent
Measurement uncertainty:15%
Sustainability:28 days
Sampling bottle:Plastic , white , 250 ml (fill up to cap)
